Blacksburg

Students woke early to the cold-red pain of a woman's crumpled body;
Some 30 minds or more, only a few hours later, join her -
by a man-made metal forged with hatred...
Of what escape is there?
-if to educate means to lose the most precious of commodities...
for some, death came quickly; for others -
a moment of torture, forever consumed;
Like these-others daily die - being force-fed this violence -
within the so called walls of higher knowledge;
disguised by a subtle brainwashing -
While a globally divided polity,
spew their rhetoric with smooth Socratic supremacy -
- Peace is found only through real enlightenment -
Weeping upon the terraces of ambitious promises;
streched out at train's length, while pieces of concrete dry their eyes.
Underneath these great fortresses lay now the innocent;
while gluttonous suburbia toasts libations. The trusted rights of purity is over -
Let a unified Truth begin today - to accomplish this ignobled charge,
the motto -"Ut Prosim" (to serve) must prevail.
